The Electronic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) vehicle is the FAA’s preferred contracting method for small business contracts. eFAST is a multi-year Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) that offers an array of labor categories with approved ceiling rates. eFAST streamlines the procurement process by using a web-based acquisition tool and automated workflows compliant with applicable FAA standards. While eFAST is an agency-wide acquisition vehicle, it can also be used by other Federal agencies when in the best interest of the Government.
Akumen is the majority owner of Amaxiam, LLC. Through this approved strategic alliance, Amaxiam actively participates in the FAA’s Mentor/Protégé Program. As a result, Amaxiam is qualified in the procurement process for various contract awards, including direct sole source 8(a) awards. With Akumen’s strong connection to Amaxiam, we are well-equipped to offer services and capabilities in the following seven functional areas:
